This expression calls for the removal of barriers and the expansion of opportunities for all people. Keith Haring was a visual storyteller who told stories that represented love or care during hardships. In 1988, he was diagnosed with AIDS; thus, worked tirelessly to raise awareness of the disease and other social and political issues, during his lifetime.
